Off-piste skiing (freeriding) is a dangerous type of activity.
Participants of the program have to comply with all requirements of the guide. Otherwise, we reserve the right to limit riding or even stop the program of the whole group. You should realize that in case of emergency, the program is terminated until the consequences of the accident are over, providing first aid to the victim, his/her transportation to the village and then to the hospital at 100 km distance.
Avalanche victim rescue detectors (beepers) are provided to all participants, and avalanche probes and snow shovels are given to some (those who ride with backpacks). We also provide training how to use them and tell about general avalanche safety. Meanwhile, we appreciate owners of avalanche airbag systems. It is highly recommended to use a helmet and other personal protection equipment.
The communication between guides, snowcat pilots, hotel administration is carried out using radio on the frequency of 460.175 MHz. Clients are allowed to join the same frequency with their own walkie-talkie devices. Apparently there are no restrictions to use another radio channel within a group. Radio availability of a rider improves his safety.
Rescue, first aid and other life issues are free of charge. This is recommended to obtain an international medical insurance with the appropriate activity coverage.
Using all our experience and knowledge of the mountains, observing safety precautions and doing our best to make your freeriding as safe and comfortable as possible, we have to warn you that we cannot guarantee your complete safety. So before the start the “Declaration of responsibility" (waiver) must be signed, where you accept all risks associated with the participation in the program.
